Cultual Creative Management
I am a part-time lecture in UIC and EDUHK and received MDes of Interaction Design in Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2008). I founded Pauldesign Ltd. in 2001 and had fruitful experience in design and business. I work with different client from Apple, Visa, Red earth and HK public client like MTR, Octopus, etc. Mr. CHAN was a visiting lecture in HKU Space, Institute for China Business (2016-2018), Hong Kong Communication colleague in HKPolyU (2008-2011) and Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2006-2007). specialization including digital interaction, retail and cultural creative management.
About My Course
Main objective of this course is to trace the development of the Cultural and Creative Industries as an idea and as concept and to identify the key points of changes within it in relations with contemporary digital connected world. Another important task of this course is to provide the deep understanding of the difference between cultural and symbolic meaning products (such as films, recorded music, book and periodicals, online media content etc) and other kind of goods.
